The first amendment applies every day of the year. If their speech is not criminal (inciting violence/riots) any other day of the year, it's not criminal on 9/11. The protection of the most disgusting speech is the entire point of upholding the First Amendment. You incorrectly take my defense of their right to say what they say as my agreeing with what they say.

And again, the Snowden case is more complicated than you make it out to be. Snowden is more defensible than Manning, but releasing classified information is still releasing classified information. I am not saying that Snowden was wrong to do what he did, but it's not a free speech issue at any rate.

Snowden did what any American with a backbone should have done. It's our right to know that we're being spied on, and their genius work did nothing to stop the Boston attack. Absolutely nothing man. So what's the point of it?

I'm sure they picked 9/11 to be provocative. That is not germane to the discussion we're having, which is whether or not they should be legally prevented from having their demonstration. Westboro Baptist Church specifically picks the funerals of servicemen to be provocative, but (most) everyone agrees they have a right to say whatever they want, as disgusting as it may be. Again, my defense of their right to say what they want to say is not my defense of what they're saying or my agreement with it.

And, I am probably mostly in agreement with you on Snowden. But, it's not a free speech issue. There are things that shouldn't be disclosed that could be if that was turned into a free speech issue.

Then take your grievance to either your OWN government, the Saudis, or the effing UN. Apologists like you will find any reason to excuse away the actions of uncivilized animals.
