Apparently, I do not get FUEL on UVerse-- maybe an upgrade ?

What type of programming on the old FUEL ? (i.e. live football games, similar to ESPN2) ?

Hopefully soon it moves out of the 600's on DirectTV and matches up next to FS1.

I love that all the ESPN channel are right in a row, except for ESPNClassic.

FUEL was Extreme sprots oriented. Lots of MMA.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuel_TV

Fuel TV is an American sports-oriented cable and satellite television channel that focuses on the cultures of extreme sports, including skateboarding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, motocross, surfing, BMX and FMX. Launched on July 1, 2003,[1] the channel is owned by the Fox Sports Media Group division of 21st Century Fox and is based out of the Fox Sports division's headquarters in the Westwood section of Los Angeles. As of March 2013[update], Fuel TV programming reaches approximately 26 million subscribers in the United States.[citation needed]

On August 17, 2013, Fuel TV will be rebranded as Fox Sports 2 alongside sister channel Speed's rebrand to general sports network Fox Sports 1.

I have Uverse and I get it. It isn't in HD though. I hope they put the channels in a block together as ESPN does. Makes no sense to have the Fox sports channels spread out.

Does Fox Sports 1 have the right to any other conference or will CUSA be their flagship conference (atleast initially)? That'd be pretty sweet if we are their main focus in college football for even one season.

Big 12 & Pac 12 give first tier tv rights to Fox Sports.

I have Uverse also, but Fuel & Speed are back to back on the lineup here in TX. 651 & 652. HD for FS1 is 1652

They just announced the first sporting event for FS1 will be a UFC fight night. But I didn't catch who was going to be in the fights.

It will be channel 219 on DirecTV. Looking through the schedule for the first couple of weeks, they have four college football games the first weekend of games - North Dakota State at Kansas State on 8/30, and William & Mary at West Virginia, Nicholls State at Oregon and Boise State at Washington on 8/31.

Yeah I saw that when I got home. The problem is that Fuel isn't in HD. I am going to be pissed if CUSA games are on FS2 and are in non HD. That would be truly disappointing. Fox College Sports doesn't have HD on Uverse either. There are 3 channels for them like 647-649

Note that we're apparently also within days of the release of the Fox Sports Go mobile app - which will apparently be similar to the WatchESPN app by carrying live games and other programming online (including excess inventory not available in the broadcast channels).

Really, really hope that it's Airplay compatible.

Will it have a web component as well like ESPN3? I don't want to watch stuff on my phone.

Would think so, but not sure. I'm with you re: watching on the phone, henceforth the Airplay comment above (that's the product that allows you to wirelessly stream from iPhone/iPad to TV through Apple TV).

Bigger issue will be whether all TV service providers will offer access to the mobile app ... that's still trickling along with access to mobile ESPN product (still no access with DirecTV).
