The SBC will be promoted on the sidelines and on the field this season in preparation for the move to the SBC next year.

Pic didn't work. I'm still not sure why y'all and Idaho aren't playing SBC this season. Seems like with the early departures of MTSU and F_U that there were places for you guys to fit.

They had already put together an indy schedule by the time they got the invite.

When we were invited our schedule and Idahos were already set. It would have sent 14 teams looking for other schools to play. Also we are still collecting exit fees and bowl money from last season. I think that is why Idaho is waiting a year to join the Big Sky.

It's good to be on a board with such knowledgeable people.

With all the moves, I'm just ready to get you guys in and start playing games. Even though we have a lot of history with WKU, they are leaving and basically a dead duck member at this point, even if they win the conference in basketball and football. Just ready to get all the moves over with. At least for this round.

Saw this and was like Then realized you were talking about their Olympic sports. No offense to them (I'd be happy if the MWC would invite them) but they really don't fit geographically in the SBC. I'd like to see Idaho let go and JMU and MoSt added and NMSU brought in for all sports.

You are far from alone in feeling this way. Idaho has got to be a short term member. And if they keep playing at Kibbie, they need to be in the Big Sky for football too. That place is not a FBS stadium by any means. I'm surprised the NCAA allows them to continue.

Is New Mexico State regularly referred to as NM State? That looks new, I thought it was usually NMSU. Maybe its just me?

I would like to see the SBC logo on the NMSU's basketball floor.

I am of the mind that Idaho's AD and prez would be lynched in town square if they dropped to FCS, so I don't see them leaving unless an invite from a new WAC or MWC comes along.

We use both. On the basketball floor the logo in the center is NM then State underneath it.

Changing subjects, this is what our previous logo looked like until lasso larry then back to the current logo of pistol pete.



OSU would let NMSU and Wyoming use the logo, then they wanted us to stop. Lawyers became involved and that is how the current logo came about.

Believe it or not there's fans from programs out there who don't get uptight about the wrong letter being capitalized or using the wrong acronym
