What teams will fall most from this year's pre-season Top 10
Last year was a debacle for preseason polls with USC and Arkansas collapsing.

Looking at this years list, I think Louisville and aTm are likely overrated. Both had unexpected runs last year and will likely revert to their historical norm.

I'm skeptical about Oregon, Georgia and Clemson being ranked this high. I'd pick them to finish in the top 15 but no higher.

But then, what do I know, as I thought USC was a lock for NC.

A&M for sure. UL should either go undefeated or have 1 loss so I don't see them falling too far. Oregon may has some growing pains with a new coach. Clemson and FSU are easily the class of the ACC this year and don't see either of them dropping more than 2 games in conference. I have no faith in UGA finishing in the top 15. I'm thinking more the 10-15 range for them

Clemson has a tough schedule. Virginia Tech could collapse.

Georgia, South Carolina, Florida LSU, aTm... Basically, any SEC that starts the season highly rated and experiences a losing streak.

Any non-SEC team.

Coaches preseason top 10:
Quote:1 Alabama
2 Ohio State
3 Oregon
4 Stanford
5 Georgia
6 Texas A&M
7 South Carolina
8 Clemson
9 Louisville
10 Florida

I'm not ready to predict six or more losses for any of these teams, but if the question is, which of these teams are most likely to be out of the top 10 in the post-bowl polls, the answer is Florida.

Texas AM for me. They are likely to drop back a little bit from last year's team and they have enough real games on the schedule to make them pay for it. Plus, you just never know if they'll have JM.

Oregon. Because they're breaking in a new coach and the last one was very good.

VT is not ranked in the pre-season top 25.

Ohio State. They won every game last year by an average of 3 points, and the B1G will be better overall this year. Plus Urban is a douche...

Meant to say I don't see UGA finishing in the top 10.

I think A&M is a great choice. I think a sleeper choice though is Clemson, with their schedule.

The thing about OSU is their weak schedule and close wins don't really count that bad. They'll finish 13-0 but lose in the NC game.

OSU's schedule is incredibly weak this year...they should go undefeated. Then of course they will get obliterated in the NC vs an SEC team.
