Less than 3 weeks away from South Carolina vs North Carolina...
This game is gonna be great. But let's face it. The season doesn't always go like we think it will, or however the experts pick it to be. That being said, here's my 5 bold predictions for the 2013 College Football season.

1. Ohio State will not play for the BCS National Championship.
2. Vanderbilt will beat a top 25 SEC team this year (not out of the realm, but it hasn't happened in a LONG time).
3. TCU will be in a BCS bowl.
4. Duke will win a bowl game.
5. USC will have a losing season.

Number three has is possible too. Duke has a chance to win one of the minor lower tier bowls. Cutcliff has them going in the right direction for 6 & 6 or 7 and 5 seasons and could win a small minor bowl which would be great for a school like Duke known more for being a basketball power.

Must be talking about USC West - the Trojan school on Southern California for a loosing season and Kiffin's demise as the Trojan coach.

TCU will be lucky to go to a bowl playing in the B-12 this year. Though with a winning OOC schedule and enough victories over the other half of the bottom of the conference like Iowa St, Kansas, WV, and Baylor or Tech might get them to 6 & 6 and a bowl bid.

Gamecocks #1 - take SEC East again this year. Go Cocks!!!!!!!!!! 07-coffee3 07-coffee3 07-coffee3

I predict that either Tulane or UAB will go bowling.

Have you even seen the USC schedule or are you just talking out your hiney? The hardest road game they have is at Notre Dame and they have no Oregon. The two toughest conference games are Stanford and UCLA at home. Then not to mention OOC games vs Boston College and Hawaii.

Even with Kiffin there is absolutely no way possible they will lose more than two games unless there are some major injuries.

I predict the AAC will succeed on the field and still be disrespected by the media, which thinks it's ok to unjustifiably mock a conference to make themselves look "cool".

The Big East curse.

I thought Vandy beat a ranked Auburn team in 2008...

Other than that, I agree with 1, 2, and 4. I definitely think 5 could happen, but regardless I think his job is in jeopardy unless he at least wins the Pac-12 South.

Unless the previews are WAY off, Tulane plays 5 opponents (South Alabama, FAU, UNT, UTEP, UTSA) that are in the consensus Bottom-25 of FBS, plus 1 more (Jackson State) that's FCS.

They did beat Auburn in 2008 as a ranked team, but lets face it. Auburn sucked in 2008, and finished 5-7. Not a real win over a real top 25 team. I count Georgia a couple years before as their last win over a ranked team.

1. Jameis Winston is a Heisman Finalist.
2. Syracuse finishes the season ranked.
3. Boise State doesn't win the MWC, their division, or finish ranked.
4. Alabama starts the season 0-2 losing to Virginia Tech in Atlanta and against Texas A&M in College Station.
5. Alabama recovers and wins the SEC West division.

Been doing that to the MAC for years, they didn't look good doing it last year and likely won't this year as well.

Well, #4 didn't go so well. The first 3 are still possible, though.

I'd put the odds of #2 happening at slim and none...
