Well. So much for Green taking up the slack.

It is almost like they saw us complaining about the lack of a roster here.

They've still got Santonio Jones listed as a linebacker.

I'm guessing it will be corrected in the morning.

Champlin's article today mentioned J.J. Green..........just said he wasn't in full gear, but talked like he was there.

I wish they would put the true weights of the players on there too..........not rubber stamps it from year to year.

Step 1 - Get the players names on there.
Step 2 - Make sure you perform step 1.
Step 3 - As time permits, verify accuracy of roster.

You always wish you could keep all the ones you sign every year, but such is not reality, at least for the nonBCS schools anyways. In checking this roster against the 2012 signee list, we lost nine from that year. Most know about Greer and Craft since they were QBs, but we also lost Forehand, Gordon and Haqq who were promising OL, McKinney and Daceus who were DL, Parrotta, a 6'3" "Athlete" and Nyck Young at WR.

We can only hope we were able to keep the best and that the rest we can "make do" without.

BTW, Six of the 9 were instate signees who either never showed up or got "lost" along the way.

I was hoping TE Henderson would make it in......the big man wants to be here in the worst sort of way!

Forehand, Gordon and Haqq didn't even make it to spring (if my memory serves me right). Remember, we flipped Gordon from USM........had high hopes for him.

As UAB found out with O'Brien in BB, "wanting to be at UAB" for a sport can be prevented by circumstances beyond our control. I hope the NCAA "Clearing House" finishes its deliberations in a timely manner and to the greater good of UAB.

I think Forehand had a chronic ailment and to give up football(shoulder?); McKinney, who HCGM stuck his neck out for, never made it to campus; Daceus committed to FAU, then UAB, then Western Michigan and ended up at JUCO

Dallas Noriega - Long Snapper - switched to Arizona State; other long snapper switched to Louisiana-Monroe...

How many players do you guys have from Clay-Chalkville and Spain Park? I see each school listed a ton on your guys' roster.

Three listed defensive tackles. That is very thin.

I thought Andra Smith was a DL?

5 from Clay-Chalkville a few from Spain Park. Also a couple from Chelsea and Minor.

I think Wright and Boyett can play either DE or DT........I'm with you, I thought Smith would be a DT too.

Five from CCHS.

The Reaves Brothers, DJ Vinson, Brandon Fuller and TJ McCollum.

Look for Fuller and McCollum to redshirt. (Just what I think).
