New jerseys again.

https://www.google.com/search?q=toledo+r...AE45FAM%3A

Cleaner than the old greys. No gold outline, smaller script.

Not sure what I'm looking for in that link?

Anyone understand why they do this, change jerseys so much? Seems costly at at time when budgets are tough. Does it generate revenue somehow?

Underarmour must have a contract with UT to where Toledo gets more jerseys and deals the more years we stay with UA...

Dont count on what you see in photos today is what will be worn on game days. There was a picture posted on Facebook where the UA shoes they have for this year are primarily yellow and black. Get ready for some wild uniform combos on game day. I am sure it will drive the traditionalists up the wall.

You can thank Oregon for all of the changes. Uniforms, and other gear play a big part in recruiting now.

Bryan Gasser tweeted the following this morning...

@CoachBGasser: Always great to have reps from @UnderArmour stop by & talk with team! They do a great job of outfitting the Rockets! #NewSwagComing

I yearn for the days when UT had just 2 jerseys - 1 home, 1 away - that were not too flashy.

Well, let's face it, it isn't exactly 867-5309.

Not even close.

They are a new "tight fit" style, with smaller numerals and name. Also no gold outlining, and as of the picture day, no names on the back. It's the same style as the old greys as far as font type, and trim, but it is indeed a different uniform.

Uni-Watch blog is not a fan

"Toledo already has some of the worst uniforms (and probably the worst number fonts) in football, but the new gray uniforms have a noticeably smaller wordmark from last year, and no outlining around the numbers or the word “TOLEDO”. It’s hard to tell from that one shot, but the piping may have changed as well. (h/t Dan Bly) ".
