UC leads USF 5-0 in the 3rd
But...

USF has the bases loaded with 1 out.

Rain may be on the way tonight - we'll see if they get the whole game in. The rest of the weekend looks pretty good weather-wise.

That'd be a good win if you get it. You don't want to be starting 1-5 or 0-6 in the league and I think USF will probably be up in the top 1/3 there at the end.

5-2 now.
Not a good game so far for our pitchiing staff which is our strength

5-2 going to the bottom of the 3rd. UC's pitcher walked 3 straight batters to walk in a run, then a sac fly added one more. USF tried a double steal but the runner was thrown out at home to end the inning.

I just checked the radar. I predict this game will not finish tonight - there is some heavy weather in Indiana making a beeline for Cincinnati.

UC has hit the ball really well this year - albeit against less than stellar competition. Their pitching causes them some trouble - too inconsistent.

I'm listening to the UC student announcers on-line. They are bad.

One of just said "I like the way it clanks", talking about the aluminum bats.

Each pitch is announced first with ooohs and aaahs, then we fins out what the pitch was. lmfao

UC trying to let USF back into the game in the 4th.

Single (could have been ruled an error), walk (5th of the game for the UC pitcher), error on a double play ball. Bases loaded.

Now a pop-up - 1 out.

UC gets out of the 4th only giving up one run after loading the bases with 0 outs.

5-3 after 3-1/2.

Couldn't be any worse than the Seton Hall kids today....

I had to leave for awhile - from the local radar I'd say this game is done for the night. Some pretty good storms in the Cincinnati area now. UC leads after 5-1/2 innings 6-4. Is that a complete game in college or will they finish tomorrow?
