Plus speaking of UC stuff. Anyone know where I can get a UC beanbag chair for my kid. He needs something to roll around in on the floor and I thought this might be good.

I can remember in the 90s seeing Miami apparel everywhere. They were huge in the African-American/hip-hop community and it permeated down to the white kids in the suburbs.

Missouri is the flagship school and only real in-state college option for residents of Missouri (forget SW MIssouri State/Missouri State or whatever they are called). They have a large number of students and a lot of living alumni. Plus Missouri is a populous state so it makes some sense that apparenl sales are high.

I have family in Texas. What many of us here in the mid-west lose focus on is how big Texas is and how geographically diverse the state is. Not trying to flame Texas Tech University or their fans, but from what I have gleaned over the years is that Tech is appealing to the blue collar/red neck types in west Texas. Baylor, also in the west, is perceived as elitist (plus it is a small school with a limited number of alums), Texas is the flagship and has fans all over the state, but there is a bit of a culture clash between Austin and west Texas. A&M is big in east Texas (Houston).

There are several schools not on this list. That is because the list is only for schools affiliated with IMG College.

RE: UC Merchandise Sales
Last I read, OSU was about where Texas is in licensed merchandise sales. In so many areas though, UC is the best it's ever been and trending upward. Even within this CLC grouping, it's an impressive performance compared with other BCS schools.

It's always fun to wear the brand when vacationing. You can't beat UC's bright red and black as school colors and it generates lots of favorable comments from folks who recognize the C-Paw. This branding work has put UC head and shoulders above many BCS peers in terms of having a unique identity.

I was down in Punta Cana, DR for my honeymoon last month and was stopped 4 times for having UC gear on by people wanting to talk about the Bearcats.

I was in Jamaica for mine two weeks ago and had the same response... Became friends with a couple from Louisville because of my hat and his UL shirt as well. Small world.

...was at Disney this past spring break with the family. I either wore my UC hat or a Bearcat shirt each day I was there. I got positive comments multiple times each day. People started conversations and I even met an intern from UC. I am proud of my alma mater and wear its colors with pride.

RE: UC Merchandise Sales
I buy a lot of UC gear but I also buy some Cincinnati Reds and generic Cincinnati fashion gear. Over the last year or so the quality of Adidas products in my view has gone down hill. As a consumer I wish UC was tied to Nike; however, I was happy to see Section 101 by Majestic in stores with the UC logo on them.

I love our color scheme but I can't wear red and black all the time so I wish UC would come up with a few alternative fashion schemes to work with. I can get Reds products in lime, yellow, grey, green, purple and just about every other color out there. Outside of Adidas' March Madness orange-infrared its very difficult to find anything else out there.

I talking more than those rainbow shirts they sell at the bookstores from some generic brand nobody has heard of. Reds have multiple color schemes from Nike, New Era, and Majestic. Adidas had their March Madness line but there needs to be more available.
