In seriousness, there are so many things wrong with this. He sailed a 36 ft boat into 7 meter seas and was run aground after only 50 mi of a 1000 mi trip. They don't have weather reports there? To puzzle it further, he's a volunteer in their sea rescue institute, the one that rescued him (off the beach). lol

I wouldn't trust this guy to take me to the movie "Madagascar," let alone on a ocean voyage.

For sure. You could change the story to Jack Daniels and not have to change a another word.

There would be no story if he saved the Jack Daniels first. No one would question his priorities.
