Officials at Vanderbilt, a private school, asked that ODU keep terms confidential, Selig said. He released the contract in response to a Freedom of Information Act request from The Virginian-Pilot.

Private schools are much better at keeping things private than public schools. FOIA makes sure of this.

Buffalo is getting $1 Million to play Ohio State this year. I think $500,000 is too low. ODU got ripped off. Most MAC schools get between $800,000 to $1.2 Million. Must be because they are transitional. UMass got more.

Arkansas State gets a trip to Auburn and a $1.1 million payday in 2013.

It is the largest payout for the Red Wolves in school history. They have topped $1 million three previous times, but will get their largest contract for the Sept. 7, 2013 game.

Maybe Vandy, UNC, NC State, and VT are not as tough, but they are BCS and they DO represent...MONEY.
