RE: National UTEP football prjections
That's nice, so your insecurities are exclusive to the internet? I dont recall your personal relationships being assaulted or questioned but I am genuinely pleased to hear that your life is enriched with love and respect. Hopefully everybody on this board has someone to hug and whisper sweet things in their ear during good times and bad.

Try not to take it personal if you are challenged. In fact, expect for others to challenge you since you seem to favor the negative spin on all things UTEP. But don't worry if things get rough you can look forward to santa bringing several pac12 bowl games for Christmas.

I never take it personal when I am challenged. In fact. That is what I want.

I want people to challenge my opinions and force me to think of things in a different way.

In fact, this forum is why I purchased season tickets last year.

I'm not against admitting when I am wrong and I'm not against changing my mind.

Embrace debate.

So let me get this straight......

You love to question UTEP, and provide "constructive criticism".
But don't like being told the difference between having a 500 season and having a .500 season ratio.

Makes sense now.... You like to do to others the very thing you don't like having done to you. And that is very much in line with what I've come to observe of you.

100% incorrect. I am not a grammar Nazi and I do not attack anyone personally.

I simply want to debate sports and politics.

Unfortunately, the UTEP fans in this forum are very much like Cowboy fans. They love their team so much that they don't have an constructively critical bone in their body.

P.S.

If the 500 without the period threw you. I'm sorry.

It's a baseball term.

When some one bats 500, that means that they when 50%.

It really should be .500 but most people just say "five hundred".

When I said I would be satisfied if UTEP has a record of 500, that is what I meant.

I thought you guys were being grammar nazis

I had no idea you knew nothing about baseball.

Well since we weren't talking about baseball....

You made a comment about comprehension and education; yet you post 500 vs. .500, and didn't like having it brought to your attention. Again, you certainly like to apply a double-standard.

And if you really want to split hairs; Grammar Nazis correct grammatical structure and punctuation. .500 vs 500 is math-related, not grammar.

I'm sorry that you didn't understand my reference to 500.

I have never beeng an Aggie fan however, I am secure enough to root for an area University knowing that if the quality of their school improves, it can only mean better competition for our team.

Yes, I am a Miner fan but I also root for Universities in our area, or segment of the country.
