So, the president of Hillsdale College referred to minority students as "the dark ones." Huh? Now, like most of you, I think political correctness has gone overboard, but seriously in a senate hearing, that a pretty stupid thing to say on the record. Its one thing to be stupid with your friends over a beer, but in a senate hearing? Really? That's the kind of judgment he has?

And then he offered this half-assed apology:

Quote:"No offense was intended by the use of that term except to the offending bureaucrats."

I understand that he doesn't like government oversight, that's fine as Hillsdale takes no government money, but that doesn't justify racist comments.

My daughter went there on a softball recruiting visit, and the admissions advisor was the most full of herself, sanctimonious, "chit don't stink" person you could imagine.

Heard his statements on the news last night. Hard to believe that a college president can sound so ignorant in a public hearing.

I'm not surprised.

CD/CD1/CD2 will be by any minute now to defense the HC president.

Levin has a correspondence course available through Hillsdale.

"Revisionist Theory of the Constitution" or some such.

I'm sure it would be entertaining.
