The NCAA will probalby pass a rule that if we hit him in the abdomen with intent, our guys will get ejected.

From "AboutSurgery.com"

Quote:Most patients are able to return to normal activities within a few weeks; more strenuous activities may take a week or two longer.

This may prevent Jeff Driskel from getting many reps in fall camp.

Their leading RB, Matt Jones is out indefinitely with a serious viral infection....he's a beast...big kid with speed...would be a blow to their offense to lose him for the opener.

Another health problem for the Gators, this time an injury to wide receiver Andre Debose, out for the year with a torn ACL. Hope the young man recovers nicely and gets the sixth year next season if he wants it.

Been a rough summer for Florida.

Debose was a 5 star recruit coming out of high school. He was Florida's version of Reedy and Page--just higher rated.

Losing Debose is a blow to our special teams. He was an excellent kick returner. But beyond that, I feel sorry for the kid. Urban Meyer called him the next Percy Harvin, and he had unrealistic expectations surrounding him from day one. He never seemed to make much of an impact at WR for Florida but it was felt he had worked hard this off season and was perhaps going to help our offense out this year, and now...suddenly....gone.

Feel for him. Very sad indeed.

That just sucks to lose an entire year to a"preseason" injury. NCAA ought to grow a heart and give him a 6th year if he wants it, they've done it before.

Toledo's Jaylen Coleman is injured and likely out for the season. Chase Murdock will take over at Middle LB
