Will Cabrera be next?
A Rod has been busted for using strength enhancements provided by a Miami dealer. Word is there are 18 other "well known" players that this guy also sold the drug to.

I've looked at pictures of Cabrera when he was with Miami. He's substantially bigger now. Perhaps that is just physical maturity, but I wouldn't be shocked if he is implicated.

He was 20 in 2003. I'd chalk it up to physical maturity.

He was also 19 years old. I know that I am a hell of alot bigger than i was when I was 19. Chalk that up to beer and pizza.

I'm more concerned with what might go down with Peralta. He was named early on.

Made the trade for Iglesias. I gotta believe Peralta is going down.

RE: Will Cabrera be next?
yeah i'm seeing 50 for peralta at this point, with how much they just spent for iglesias. The nice thing about this trade is the dude is an absolutely vacuum in the field, and we have him locked up for 5 more seasons

RE: Will Cabrera be next?
Originally, I figured all of these guys would appeal and nothing would happen until next season. I think that the Tigers trading for Iglesias shows that Peralta is on the list and will be gone for a bit.

I also think that Jhonny has to take the suspension right away as he is a free agent after the season. If there was a suspension looming, that kills his value to start next year. This way, he takes his 50 games after having a nice season. Comes back for the playoffs and then gets paid.

If Iglesias can field like you say and hits a little bit, this is a great move. Not only as a stop gap for this year if Peralta is gone, but also for a few years to come.

RE: Will Cabrera be next?
You might haven Jhonnys last AB as a Tiger today. Clearly we are not resigning him now. ( which financially we couldn't do with Scherzer and Cabby coming due).

On a side note why anyone picks on DD is lost on me. Far and away the best GM the Tigers have ever had. Arguably the best in the game.

After watching the highlight video, I love the move even more. If the kid can hit at all, we are going to love him.

Going to the game on sunday. I couldn't name more than 4 tigers but my son is a budding baseball player and they are filming transformers 4 two blocks away from comerica were my buddy has a nice place. My wife was in a few movies as an extra in her youth so she loves that ****. I just wanted something cool to do. Who is starting sunday?

RE: Will Cabrera be next?
Kimbo, I believe that Porcello will start Sunday. Team is off today, then Fister starts tomorrow. So that means either Scherzer or Porcello Saturday and Sunday, I cant remember what order they pitch in.

I went a few weeks ago and saw Scherzers only loss of the season. I don't know if I will go back. But I'll be able to say that I was there for his only less when he finishes 25-1 and wins the Cy Young
