FWIW I agree and wish we had gone with the "Blue Wave" that Boozie mentioned. Course then people would of said we were ripping of Tulane.

Neverthless FAU's current marketing push across the board (Athletics and Academics) is "Making Waves" so thats where we are at.

This was not an intro video but was played in the stadium at very high volume during the pregame. Great video by WKU.

They have been really pushing the beach/water theme for the last few years. "Making Waves" has been a predominant theme for the last 2 years. FAU has a great ocean engineering program.There are worse thing I can think of to highlight.

It never even occured to me that this might looked at in a "gay" way. Just showing off the beach and the workouts that FAU players put in. Perhaps some of you need to check which side of the fence your thoughts are leading if thats where it lead you.

The land on which FAU was built is a designated burrowing owl sanctuary. That is where the nickname "owls" comes from.
