C'mon man. They announced the game via email. And then there will be a little social media posting in a month. Maybe one billboard off Norwood lateral, but nothing outside I-275. Those fans don't exist...I've been told.

I've been a season ticket holder since they joined the BE. Never attended school at UC and oh by the way I live in Brown County OH

Excellent! Glad you have caught onto Bearcat football. Unfortunately, there aren't many like you. I wish there were a lot more.

The point Ragpicker is making is that some of us have commented over the past few years that the program needs to market other areas outside of Greater Cincinnati to grow the ticketbase. We have been told the priority and budget is within I-275.

I'm hoping the upgraded Nippert will be used as the very tool for marketing and fan base growth beyond the I-275 belt...

Glad to read that and glad to see that someone in SW Ohio, with no ties to UC, figured out that really good college football is a short drive away.
Tip of my cap to you.

I'm guessing the nonstudent tickets will be sold out within a week or so.

214-215 show no availability. Is UC making that a student section?

Aren't those part of the visitor section?

No reason to allocate that for visitor section. That is the right spot for student over flow seating. Did Purdue fans gobble those sections up?
Almost nothing available in 213-215, strange.

Oh is it? I was legit asking if it was for the visitors section or not. I thought it was but wasn't 100% sure and I completely agree that it should be overflow for students.

Of course visitor seating is currently 127-126, but generally we don't get many visiting fans..............so 213-215 could be over flow for visitors. I just checked for the SMU game and no availability for 213-215. Hopefully students will pack that area.

213-215 is in fact visitor seating but those tickets are generally made available to the public when the opposing team returns their allotment (which happens most of the time). I can't imagine Purdue fans not gobbling up all those tickets but who knows.

Why do they separate the visitors section like that? I would think it makes more sense to keep 213-215 for UC fans and just expand the other visitor section behind the visiting team bench.

RE: Ticket Availability for Purdue Game
Could they convert 125 to visitor seating then simultaneously convert 213-215 to UC seating? I don't know if that would be possible since it would probably making the priority seating and season tickets a little screwy.

You would lose money that doing that and it takes good lower bowl seating from your own fans.

RE: Ticket Availability for Purdue Game
There needs to be a plan or procedure to make sure Students are aware that 213-215 is available to them
in short order. Visiting fan bases are not going to buy that section out, except rare circumstances.
