Good to see you're still "alive and well" Thurston. How have things been in Jackson? New Albany hasn't changed...neither have I, except that I shaved my mustache for the first time in about 15 years.

I don't know about you but there doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm about the up-coming season. I'm anxious for it to get started - provided we don't have any more guys getting arrested for assault.

Well, if we can get started ASAP the number of arrests should hopefully go down.

How are things on the Island? Some people are calling for 13-0, and a National Championship, I mean UT did it after a Manning. Why not us? Well, I don't think we will go 13-0, I do think we will suprise some people on D...And maybe with Spurlock...but if we do that run, run, short pass crap over and over and over...just killing Spurlocks confidence, then it will be a LONG year my friend.

You're absolutely right. I just hope we don't crawl into an offensive shell just because Eli is gone. I think we'll surprise a lot of folks. We'll just have to see.
