Seafood in Kentucky? No thanks. 100 miles to the nearest coastline or I pass. Unless you're talking freshwater. That's a whole different story.

You would change your mind if you had it. The rest of our concessions are crap.

It was opened by our former Alumni President whom our new Alumni Center is named after following a $Million donation. He owns Steamer Seafood in Hilton Head SC.

It is good stuff. He ships it in himself. He shipped us a bunch of shrimp one year for the Middle Tennessee Alumni Derby Party.

God bless Hilton Head Island. Would love to take another vacation there once the economy bounces back.

There is a vendor who serves sausage, brats w/ peppers and onions in the northwest corner of the stadium who slings a mean dog. You can smell the food all the way to the 50-yd. line if the wind is blowing in from the north. Really good.

Nothing really in TU stadium that is worth it. They used to have backyard burgers which were ok. Now that is gone and nothing out of the ordinary. I like their nachos but if you have ever been to any sporting event in your life then you know what it tastes like.

I'll have to seek that guy out next time we play there.

In 2011, you all had Chick-fil-A sandwiches being sold. While not anything real unique... I love Chick-fil-A, so I was happy.

Beth Marie's Home Made Ice Cream is good stuff. They are a local shop have a stand at Apogee. When it gets cold, they sell great hot chocolate too.

If you tailgate at the Normbulance you might come across a Dough'Q:

For those not familiar with Bojangles we sell it in the stadium:

Hey UTEP, how were those BBQ sandwiches at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium? We know the end result of a team downing a bunch of them during a rain delay is. That team loses, they must have been good, cause Mike Price nearly cleared the food stand out.

Lesson for the day kids, don't eat a heave meal in a rain delay, eat power bars and drink gator aide/power aide.

We eat very well tailgating before the games, so I don't eat in the stadium. They no longer have a trailer at the stadium, but Kirkenburt's Redneck nachos would be the only unique/different item I can think of right off hand. Most of our food is typical hot dogs, popcorn, etc.

It's basically a huge hot dog with sauce(optional).

There's even a mascot for it

What happens later is commonly referred to as the Thunderdump.

We used to have Redneck Nachos. Those are the best things in the world. But the business pulled out of selling them during games. I wish they'd reconsider though.

Oh you don't know what Redneck Nachos are? Well...

Piled high tortilla chips topped with white beans, melted mozzarella cheese, our hickory smoked pulled pork, house BBQ sauce, sour cream and served with a side of salsa.

Never had one myself... but the official hotdog of ECU is the Bright Leaf Red Hotdog.

Come to a UTSA game and you can try a "Greesy Pork Sandwhich served in a Dirty Ashtray" - Name that movie

Seriously, stop by my tailgate and enjoy some catered Perico's Mexican Food. We usually switch it up between different type of tacos but everything is delicious. Top it off with a frozen margarita mixed with Dos Equis from a keg for a refreshing Dosarita

I don't know if they do this in other stadiums but at the Sun Bowl, they started selling these "SUPER NACHOS" that come topped with meat, sour cream, lettuce, tomato and all kinds of other stuff.
