I prefer flat brim hats, look way better if you want to wear backwards...but I wear both type...It's an age thing I think....

Yeah, I'm in my mid 20's, but I did grow up playing baseball. I always bend all my caps as soon as I buy them.

I was never into "regular" brim baseball hats. They all looked awful when I wore them. I buy flat brims and put a small amount of curvature in them. I also wear a size 7 7/8 hat so I think the flat brims just look better on my stupid big head.

That being said, I'm not interested in that hat for any price

I imagine there is a huge, unexplored market for classic, well designed athletic hats.

Without exageration, it took me 10 seconds to figure out what that discount Orange Bowl hat was saying. Bound Bowl? Bound? Where is the NIU logo? Whythe, whatthe, howthe?

That second hat is brutally tacky....I don't understand why companies produce that junk....

Does anyone know if the VCB carries the white and red hat Jordan had on during the Orange Bowl, I remember they showed a shot of him on the sideline and he was wearing it....similar to the baseball hat(below) but i think it was white with a red N and red bill...

I only own hats with simple logos. Black hat with the regular white cursive Sox logo, blue Brewers hat with the mitt logo, and a red Bulls hat with the Bull logo. This is the NIU hat I have

I agree with you. How can he be serious about 'underlying race tones'? It doesn't matter it they're black, white, Asian, Latino, etc. - practically everyone who wears a flat-bill hat tucks their ears in the sides, has the hat cocked a little to the side, and (to a lesser extent) sags their pants.

My first flat-billed purchase was the Nike Orange Bowl Hat. Will never wear it. Just a momento that's sitting in my office with a bunch of other NIU stuff

What I don't get is just looking around, I don't see as many flat rimmed hats as I do the traditional style, but then I go into lids and 3/4th of the inventory is flat, why is that?

Because the people who buy flat bill hats buy a million of them - 1 for each outfit. People who wear traditional hats usually only have a couple.
