Isaac Hamilton wants out of UTEP?
My Twitter account is going crazy over this.

Supposedly, according to the L.A. Times, Isaac Hamilton wants out to go and play for USC.

RE: Isaac Hamilton wants out of UTEP?
This is already on the CUSA board.

You started another thread there, which I merged to the already existing conversation.

Anyway, I hope folks ignore your trolling threads.

And for that -3

Trolling threads?

So reporting on events that effect UTEP athletics is trolling?

wow.

Your definition evolves on an almost daily basis.

UTEP's reasonable expectation without Hamilton
What do you guys think will be a reasonable record this year without Hamilton?

I don't think they can win 20 without him.

Didn't they win 18 this past year? A few missed free throws from 20? The conference tourney is in EP and an upgraded front line should help with the rebounding issues. You grossly underestimate the returning players and sound ready to write off the recruiting class. I say we win 22-24 games and make the ncaa tourney.

You are a troll. Your team is generically identified as pac12 yet you frequent a UTEP message board and are the first poster anytime something negative can be stated/repeated about UTEP. To specifically address RUN's comments, the Hamilton NLI had already been posted in the conference forum yet you still had to come to the team board and repost the same info. AND you have another thread now that is premised on win vs loss without Hamilton. Trolls gonna troll03-nutkick

For your information, I posted that I was a fan of the PAC 12 before I even knew there was a thread for UTEP.

I originally found this forum while looking for information on re alignment.

Secondly, I created this thread before I knew that people were talking about Hamilton on the CUSA thread. This thread is specifically about his change of mind. The other thread was a thread about congrats for his recruitment.

Finally, I only post negatively about Tim Floyd. That doesn't make me a troll.

I have an opinion about Floyd just like others had an opinion a bout Price.

If you call that trolling then so be it.

Just because I criticize something that happens at UTEP doesn't mean I'm not a fan.

Even cowboy fans criticize Romo and Jones from time to time.

Are you really that thin skinned that you can't handle criticism about UTEP?

But it isn't just Hamilton that left however but Washburn as well.

I don't think they will win 20 but that's just my opinion.

Thin skinned, nope. I actually appreciate criticism as it offers perspective. A clear mind without preconceived notions often leads to sound judgment. You however do not offer productive criticism as your posts are negative and tailored towards enticing argument. Why doesnt anyone ever agree with you? Is it because we are all foolish homers that have raging boners for UTEP?

I am definitely foolish though as RUN issued warning to your bait thred...

RE: Isaac Hamilton wants out of UTEP?
I tried to tell you all.

If someone posts the same thread in multiple forums to point out something negative, and does it simply to get a reaction out of folks........ Then it's a troll.

Under Troll, Webster's dictionary states "See Fitbuddy, Fitbud, NMSU-fan, PAC12 boner fan, etc."

So in your mind, Floyd deserves no criticism in his 3 years at UTEP?

Even though he has not turned the program around by now when so many other UTEP coaches have?

Even though he continues to lose players?

Even though he continues to receive negative publicity in the national media?

Really?

In my mind? Seriously, I already explained my logic to you. Try reading my previous post again. Both of the merged threads were about Hamilton by your own admission and now it's about me. Try to stay on topic for more than 2 posts and see if you can comprehend that someone who does not agree with you is not automatically an advocate of the opposite opinion. Don't bother responding with another question as I understand where this is going and am jumping off the merry-go-round, wheee! 03-puke

RE: Isaac Hamilton wants out of UTEP?

Lemme break it down for ya reeeal slooooooow:
You do not like Floyd and your support of UTEP is suspect at best. All of your threads are tailored towards highlighting the negative which indicates that you have an agenda. This is a UTEP message board so some posters might take issue with repeated posts against their alma mater or hometown team. I do not embrace anything and everything UTEP. Do I agree with CTF denying the NLI release? yes. Am I glad CTF is our coach? yes. Do I always enjoy watching our mbb team play? No, CTF drafts a game plan to win and weighs little as to how much fun it will be to watch. I accept that as I believe we will win more games than lose.

Is there anything else? Do you want me to put on some crocs and send you a pic of my best brett favre impression?

Not sure if anyone has reported on this but Isaac Hamilton did file his appeal a few days ago.

I paid for my child's tuition to UTEP yesterday. The deadline for Fall enrollment has passed.

Actually, Fitbud, it is possible to enroll up until Census Day, if you got the right signatures on the paperwork.

Wow. That's strange. I went to orientation with my daughter on the 14th and they told us we that yesterday was the absolute final day for new students.

From liebestraum at MI. I think it is actually September 11th though. That is census day at UTEP.

Quote:There are two possible "late enrollments." There's the standard 4th day late enrollment - the kind of thing that can be done without too much bother - i.e., no special signatures required.

After the 4th class day, some students can add up to the 12th class day - but usually this requires permission from the department chair (who usually checks with the instructor involved), then the dean, and finally the registrar.

FYI - the 12th class day is the day "official" class rosters are set. State universities get their state funding based on the total enrollment on this day.

It is very, very rare to add a student after the 12th class day. Sometimes it is allowed because the student has been attending class all along and, for whatever reason, did not know he/she was not on the roster. But for a student to simply show up and try to get into classes after that - that would require something truly extraordinary.

I'm not sure when UTEP's first day of class - but if you count 12 days from that, that's when Hamilton could get registered, something I really doubt will happen. I've seen people post that UCLA's fall semester starts later than UTEP's - it would be interesting to check the timing on their starting date versus UTEP's 12th class day.

Unless I am mistaken, classes start on August 26th.

Of course, my kid doesn't have a scholarship so I was required to pay already.

9 hours cost me 2300 dollars. That's a nice chunk of change.

Any idea if students get free football tickets?
