With as thin as they are, he may actually have a really good chance of making the team if he can master the Patriots route running.

Perhaps rewording that statement would have been a wise decision, but you knew what I meant. Last year, Welker/Lloyd/Gronk/Hernandez/Woodhead (all players no longer with NE or hurt to start the season) accounted for 84% of the team's receptions. They bring in an oft-injured Amendola in an attempt to help solidify the passing game. If Ashford can make the team, there is a real good chance he gets some playing time.

I know I know, just busting balls.....but honestly, if there is any system where a undrafted free-agent WR can see the field it's in Foxboro....hopefully he can pick it up and get those mitts on brady's balls

Me neither, that was a great catch, and couldn't have come at a better time.

I've been sayin Perez to Patriots for awhile. I've made the Wes Welker comparison, but via HW they also signed Quentin Sims from UT Martin who I thought played EXTREMELY WELL against us.

not a word on his facebook, he's still covered in NIU photos!

While I am not a Pats fan AT ALL...I am happy for Perez and I hope it all works out great for him.
