What happens at Auburn is irrelevant to what is happening at UTEP.

Regardless, Barbee was far more successful in his four seasons that Floyd has been at UTEP.

Tony Barbee went to the post season in three of the four years that he was at UTEP. He went to the CBI Finals, and Won a CUSA championship.

Unless Floyd wins CUSA, and wins at least one game in the NCAA, it's pretty much a done deal.

Coach Floyd has an NIT appearance and turned down the CBI last season and has only coached here three seasons. So no, not an undeniable fact.

What do you think Floyd's record will be this year without Hamilton?

Fitbud, for the most part I have read your posts and I've taken them with a grain of salt and not commented. You're entitled to your opinion, you can play the Devil's Advocate, however saying Barbee was more successful is simply not true. Barbee used UTEP as a stepping stone, he was not interested in building a program. He left the program no better off.
