The current players are:

Arizona middle linebacker Jake Fischer, an All-Pac 12 honorable mention player in 2012 who led the Wildcats in tackles with 119.
Arizona senior Jake Smith, a senior who has played at Youngstown State and Syracuse who will compete for the Wildcats' place-kicking job in preseason camp.
Clemson cornerback Darius Robinson, a senior from College Park, Ga., who started for the first half of 2012 before a fractured ankle ended his season.
Vanderbilt middle linebacker Chase Garnham, who made 84 tackles and led the Commodores in sacks in 2012 with seven.
Minnesota receiver Victor Keise, a fifth-year senior who has played sparingly.
Minnesota tight end Moses Alipate, a fifth-year senior who has yet to play in a game.

So a couple of scrubs and a couple of starters.

Seems like most of the plaintiffs in these lawsuits are guys who either never panned out in the pros or who have little or no pro prospects. I wonder why that is?

In the end, I think any notion that this lawsuit will radically change collegiate athletics is wrongheaded. That's because we already have an example of what is likely to happen: The very similar lawsuit filed by old NFL players against NFL licensing of their likenesses. That suit was settled for a whopping $42 million, which is just a rounding error in NFL finances.

Any settlement at the NCAA level will be similar-sized (i.e., small) potatoes.

the nfl pays players, the ncaa doesnt.

even if they settle for $1 it will be a total game changer
