With Kristi:

-Will “cost of attendance” scholarships cause the power 5 conferences to break away from the other FBS schools?

-the latest on the possibility of an ACC network

-will the ACC move its men’s tournament to the NYC area

-an interesting Tom Jurich story about facilities and what makes him so valuable as an AD

Didn't sound too optimistic for an ACC Network.

Several different Network models out there. I agree that she didn't express much hope of an ESPN/ACC partnership on a new network in the near future. ESPN people would have to be her source she mentioned wouldn't it?

I just have a feeling that the ACC and Raycom are going to do something outside the box.

I'm sorry, but the likelihood of Disney not putting on the brakes in terms of any effort by ESPN to build a Network that would be competing with the brand new Network that ESPN is building for the SEC, it's just not likely.

There isn't much incentive as a company to build your own competition in this situation. Twice the start up fee's but not twice the profits. In the end they would probably have to just do more bundling and that means less payouts to both conferences or much lower payouts to one of the conferences while the other gets the full payout.
