No one than SJ has said anything close to that. You, Banker, have been the main one acting like Marshall will be the only one to improve it's defense and ECU's D will not. Get real. You simply can not stand that some pick ECU and some pick Marshall.
Many have doubt about Marshall taking a jump up, given your history in C-USA. ECU has been down, but has risen up to win championships. ECU has proved it can do it more than once. And, last year we we're co-division champs.
SJ and a few others are saying a lot of crap, Marshall will be good, our game should be a good one decided late and decide the East division. But, your bring a lot of these on yourself, pissing all over this thread.

Tell me what the head coaches for MTSU, FIU, FAU, USTA, La Tech and UNT know about CUSA. For all you know the coaches who were here last year voted for Marshall in a greater percentage than ECU and the new coaches just looked at last years record (like SJ).
And ecumbh, you really saying SJ is the only one? It's more like everyone but you. If all ECU posters were like you this thread would have ended 8 pages ago.

Another way of asking the question is what do the coaches of Tulsa, Rice, UAB, UTEP, Tulane and USM know that you don't know? Because those are 6 votes; Marshall only got votes and 1 of those probably was from Doc.

I guarantee you McGee doesn't give a flying F about this preseason poll. He probably was asked to fill this out and did it in less than 2 minutes. This crap means nothing. He knows it. You know it. I know it. This will all be settled on the field, and if ECU or Marshall finish anywhere but first, nobody is going to be talking about their preseason votes.

That's an older photo. They "upgraded" with a new Pepsi sign and coat of paint.

Wow, have not been by in a while, obviously. Looks like everything
else might be the same including the box fans in the windows and
the rather aged "Closed Sun-Mon" sign.
As you noted, the faded Coca-Cola sign was traded for one advertising
Pepsi. At one time, wouldn't that have been blasphemous in the South?

Good point......you can also add La. Tech (Coach Holtz) to your list as he knows Cusa and ECU as well as anyone with two Cusa Championship @ ECU. La. Tech will do well under his leadership.

Coke is out of Atlanta, GA.
Pepsi and Cheerwine are from eastern and central North Carolina, respectively.
I included Cheerwine bc its better than all the rest.

Love Cheerwine, so thanks NC for that. You can keep the Pepsi
Coke > Pepsi
However, Dr Pepper is better than both!

Now that is something I had never known. Then why does Pepsi have the rep for being a drank from "the nawth"?
My Grandparents kept a big supply of neither Coke nor Pepsi --- big BIG on Royal Crown Cola which seems to have now disappeared. They use to advertise years ago a lot with "Me & My RC", now nothing.

yup, pepsi's original name was "Brad's Drink." It's inventor, Caleb Bradham, was a pharmacist and UNC graduate.

IDK, but here it's the taste born in the Carolina's. Walter Minges won the bottling facality, the orginal one in New Bern in a poker game. Minges Botteling Group is now one of the distributors of Pepsi in NC and our basketball arena bares Walter's name, Minges Coliseum.

It's funny how things go full circle. Pepsi is one of the sponsors of ODU football. We don't call inside the twenty yard line the red zone. At ODU, it is the Pepsi Blue Zone. If we complete a pass to move inside the twenty, you will hear the announcer say something like, "It's a Virginia Lottery First Down at the sixteen in the Pepsi Blue Zone."
Oh, yeah. I forgot to tell you. Virginia Lottery is also a sponsor, and every Monarch first down is a "Virginia Lottery First Down!"
At first you don't like it. Then you get used to it. Now we embrace it.
Our sponsors get their money's worth!

Isn't a Virginia State Lottery Monarch first down in the Pepsi Blue Zone. I thought the PA guy would never get done saying it. It's a bit much, but they do pay you to say it. The thing I don't like is it kills any chance of having a first down chant.

I love RC. It's still pretty easy to find and I grab a bottle even now and then.
