Dumbest name:
1. Summit League (in the Midwest-not near any mountain summits)
2. Horizon League (I don't think of the Midwest and horizons)
Hopefully one of these two will disappear in realignment
3. AAC (always reminds me of Bill the Cat AACKK!!!!)
4. Tie-mathematically challenged leagues-Atlantic 10, Big 12, Big 10

This is just asking for trouble. This does not promote the sense of posting in good nature. I suggest not trying to stir the pot just for the sake of stirring the pot. This will not end well.

It would be ridiculous if UConn were left out of the top 64.

The P5 don't want to compete with our BB program, and they don't have a ton of respect for our FB program (even though our NFL draft record is better than 21 P5 programs).

yeah well "my tenure" is starting out fine. i know you dont like what i have to say about the new big east (a conference i still respect and root for) which is why i dont take kindly to your comments

your football program is indeed underrated. but i think "competing with your bb team" is last on a long list of reasons why uconn hasnt gotten an invite.

wether or not uconn is in the top 64 is a good question, but personally, i say they are not

If you really want to do this I suggest that you ask for the best conferences historically and the best conferences in the last two decades (or recent times for most). It is also fair to ask posters to rank the present P5 conferences as they see them. But the rest of the queries probably are going to lead to trouble. JMO, JR

I probably speak for many people that this is just asking to much in one sitting I need to give an academic reasons for each one... I might of been in school for to long.

This conversation has been deemed unproductive. I suggest we explore more intriguing avenues of thought...
