lemme me list a few reasons.....
1. no northeast recruiting grounds
2. a fb centric league
3. a kansas dominated league
4. a blueprint with limited amounts of BB recruits
The vast majority of the top 25 have no northeast recruiting grounds. I don't see the validity of any of your points. You should leave the northeast once in a while, to get a better feel for the rest of the nation...
WVU will be just fine in the B12...
by northeast i meant the northeast + dc baltimore philly & canada. chicago is a hotspot too that is a nyc/philly style bb city. but last i checked thats b10 territory. thats where a lot of good players come from and that area was the bread & butter for big east schools.
lemme give you some stats (not including chicago)
-kansas has three incoming 5 stars (two of them came from this region)
-syracuse 4/5 of their incoming class (ranked 7th overall) came from this region
-kentucky has had a 5 star come from this region for 3 straight years and at least a 4 star for 5 straight years
-arizona has had a 5 star come from this region for 2 straight years, and a 4 star before that
-duke/unc/kansas tend to get a high ranked recruited out of that region at least once every other year
if this isnt enough for you heres one last little stat for ya
-the top recruit for gtown cuse, ku, iu, fla, & arizona, came from that region
clearly you dont know bb, clearly you dont know that every major program keeps an eye on this part of the country.
