Exclamation Dukes on TV!
It looks like all the times have been released for the 2013 season and are as follows:

8/31: Central Connecticut State 6p
9/7: @Akron 6p
9/14: St. Francis 6p
9/28: @Delaware 6p
10/5: Albany (Family Weekend) 1:30p
10/12: Richmond 3p
10/26: @William & Mary 3p
11/2: Villanova (Homecoming) 3:30p
11/9: @New Hampshire 12p
11/16: Stony Brook 3p
11/23: @Towson 3:30p

Unfortunately, CSN/TCN and NBC have yet to release their TV schedule yet leaving many of us scratching our heads and wondering which games are gonna be on TV. I predict that we'll know by or on CAA media day in two weeks.

I don't think any of the OOC games will be on TV, although the Akron game will be available on ESPN3. I think the Delaware game is a certainty for an NBC slot and I think we will get one more (probably either Towson or Villanova). I also think Richmond, UNH and either Towson or Villanova (whichever doesn't get picked up by NBC) will be on some combo of CSN or TCN. Leaving us with what I believe will be 2 national and 3 local games on TV.

Thoughts?

So you're saying I should just retitle this to 'Newest TV Rumor'?

Richmond, StonyBrook would be my bets. They want to showcase Bridgeforth (and use the outstanding media amenities) more than any other stadium in the CAA.

I like that there are no night games late in the season. Gets cold when the sun goes down. Conversely, can tailgate all day for the first few games and the 6 o'clock kickoffs. And, have plenty of time to travel to the Akron game in a relaxed manner. Perfect!

I think Stony Brook will be one, but I think they'll go with the Villanova game as the other game on NBCSN. Richmond and JMU share overlapping markets and I think they'll see that as a better game to be on CSN than on a national broadcast.

No noon home games. It's a historic day because I'm going to admit that Jeff Bourne got something right.

Yeah, this was 5 day old news on the schedule thread, which you had posted on, when you posted this.

I didn't think there was a Pink Out this year. They changed the Breast Cancer Awareness game to Cancer Awareness Day. JMUSports.com doesn't mention it as being a Pink Out.

Call it what you want (Pink Out/Cancer Awareness Day)...I believe there was a "Pink Out" at BFS last season...with free Pink Ts etc. being handed out to students. But perhaps that was the year before...someone else can do the research to confirm.

In any case I agree that it's not appropriate for a televised game, when school colors should be front and center.

And before anyone goes off the deep end about not being supportive or sensitive to cancer fighting efforts, my opinion is offered up as a two-time cancer survivor.

The Pink Out cause is great to support but it's really not a good idea for a football game. Most guys don't own pink clothes so unless they are handing out 15K free t-shirts (or sweatshirts if it's cold) it's going to be a failure.

You'd hate being a Big Ten football fan. Historically, they've had a lot of them.

That's what I'm wondering as well. What's the point of announcing it and then counting down to it without ever releasing the schedule?

The CAA Media Day is next Wednesday. Maybe someone at CAA had a brain fart and thought it was this week.

Maybe they're waiting for a study about when the optimal time to release the TV schedule is finished before they put anything out there.

Per CAA Football's TheFacebook.com page:
We're still hoping to release today. We've been working with our partner networks to confirm final specifics that arose. We want to release the schedule as soon as possible and plan to make that happen. Thanks.

JMU is monitoring this situation...
