Calipari Announces his own clothing line
Dan Wolken ‏@DanWolken 46m

RT @johnclayiv: He's a coach, an author, a blogger, a speaker. Now John Calipari announces his own clothing line. http://johnclay.bloginky.com/2013/07/29/...hing-line/

Wonder what he will call it...douchebag-wear??
Would love to see the commercials. Calipari could face the screen and say "Now you too can dress like the biggest douche in sports. I'm not just a customer...I'm the CEO b@tch."
LOL

Now you really know why UK was his dream job. He had to be salivating at the bits when that job came open. He saw that cash cow miles away and they just don't get it. So far he has written what 2-3 books, now a clothing line. You would think at least one member of that fanbase could see through it but I guess not. They are so gullible it is ridiculous. 03-lmfao

Honestly though, if he were still here and started a clothing line, we'd be the gullible ones, right?

I couldn't see myself wearing a suit or anything else designed by a basketball coach.

The books must have been beyond easy money. He probably spoke into a tape recorder for 45 minutes and let someone else write it.

I have no issue whatsoever for anything he did while he was here, or him leaving for Kentucky. I can't even blame him for thinking that we are ungrateful. Everything he has directed at us since then, stinks.

Some of our comments fall into that category but certainly not a clothing line. Really?

I am a bit surprised that you have no issue with anything he did while he was here. That's a lot of "stuff" to stomach, esp. what he did to some of our players. But I'm not trying to open that can of worms again. If that's how you feel, and you truly know most of what he did, then more power to you.
Are you coming down for a football game this year?

Does anyone know if he bought his suits in Memphis? My wife thought she saw him in James Davis one day while she was in there buying a tie for a nephew's birthday. This was around 2005.

Cal is no different than many of the top coaches. I'm hoping to make the Duke game. Hopefully, there will be another monsoon during the game, which will make it last 7 or 8 hours. I had a great time the whole time last year.
