Hi guys and girls. I am headed to the Ark game this year. I have always stayed with friends in the past but alas, we're all grown up now and actually have to get a hotel. I was just wondering if any of you could advise me on a place to stay. I've done a few quick looks and it seems as if F'ville has the prices WAYY jacked up (ie. Comfort Inn for ~$130). Where have yall stayed in the past? I don't mind spending money, but $130 on a comfort inn seems a bit excessive. Just looking for some help and guidance. Thanks guys.

I've been before (and going back this year as well) - when i made my res 2 years ago everything in Fayetteville was booked up (so i would do it soon if you want to stay in town). There were several choices available in Springdale/Rogers/Bentonville which is about 20-30 minutes north of Fayetteville - but i didn't want to go any further north than i had to and didn't want to backtrack, so i got a place which was halfway back between Fayetteville and Little Rock. This year, one of my friends has a friend that now lives in Bentonville and said we could crash there for free, so i'll probably go that route.
I was also looking for a Comfort-style hotel and the ones in the small towns by the interstate were much better priced (and on the way back to 'Bama - and Miss for you guys) - the Comfort i found in Clarksville,AR was $60 per night. There were also a couple of brand new smaller chain hotels in Russelville, which is a little closer back to Little Rock.
Any other questions on driving to Hog land, i'll share what i know.
