I think Leron will be a serious rebounder at this level from day one. So yeah, good stuff.

Not skilled enough with ball handling to play a wing. He could play the 3 but it would be like DJ playing the three. VERY limited ballhandling.

But, there won't be a player that outworks his opponents like Leron. SUPER ENERGY.

Leron is a 4

Believe me. He plays like a 4. But , his body is a 3. And, they've been trying to make him a 2/3 for the past three years.

Seems like he should be a 3/4. Preferably an undersized 4.

I think his tweener body type makes his NBA chances tougher. But he could develop into a beast of a college forward.

Shaq really doesn't see much time at the 4 as it is.

Who knows how Nichols will shake out in the rotation in 2014-2015.

I'm thinking we add 2 bigs in 2014.

I'd like Khadeem Lattin and Black. But another transfer wouldn't surprise me either.

I suspect we are going to be 4 deep in the paint from this year forward.

Yea after being destroyed by Michigan St last year in every aspect in the paint and on the glass i think Josh and Co. started to rethink everything

They were rethinking it long before that game, we just missed on Parker and some other bigs in 2012. Shaq was one of several we were after. In 2013 after missing on Coleby, we landed Nichols, Pellom and Woodson. Now were in with Black, Alexander, Lattin and a few others for 2014.

So this has been building for a few years now.

IMO we're in more of a desperate need for a good point guard next year more than any other position.

Everyone wants to put the MSU game on the bigs...Yes they were outplayed, but so were our guards...We were essentially beat in every aspect of that game.

Doesn't really matter about that one game at this point.

The bigger point is we needed more true bigs and we've landed several. Our frontline has been a real weakness the last few years. We need to keep landing them.

I agree, which is why I'll be way more excited with Pookie qualifying than I am with Iverson. Iverson is far and away the better talent right off the bat, but we need a PG way more than we need a wing on next year's squad.

Getting a PG doesn't worry me as much. There is probably a line a mile long of touted PG's wanting to play here.

I have a strong feeling we will land another top 100 PG and may well add a JR/SR transfer.

So it may look bleak today, but I doubt it will going into next season.

You can say that about any position but it still doesn't change the fact...to me the pg is the most important position on the floor but that's up for debate.

Thats why I think CJP is going to push hard for an experinced transfer that can play the point too.
