Mark me absent. Not a fan of watching train wrecks.

I think the IOC has made a decision to award the Olympics to emerging economies. Some will probably do well as South Korea and Mexico did, and some will probably be train wrecks because of instability.

Well if IOC includes the drawn, quartered and standing toss as a competition Brazil seems to be an emerging leader here.

The head on a pike relay is typically won in the first leg with and explosive and clean decapitation. Again, Brazil seems to be forging a head.

Jim Rome is right: Soccer sucks.

Remember that some jack455 rec league player in Utah killed a ref after he punched him in the face.

Quote:A Utah soccer referee who suffered head injuries when he was punched in the face by a teenage player has died, authorities said.

The 17-year-old player struck the referee, Ricardo Portillo, in the head on April 27 after Portillo penalized the teenager during a soccer game in a Salt Lake City suburb, according to the Unified Police of Greater Salt Lake.

Portillo, 46, died late on Saturday at an area hospital, the police said in a statement posted on the department's website.

The player, whose name was withheld because he is a juvenile, was upset because Portillo had issued him a yellow card, police said. A yellow card is a caution for actions that range from a foul to unsportsmanlike conduct.

Portillo, of Salt Lake City, was taken by ambulance to a hospital to be treated for what was initially believed to be minor injuries. It was later determined that Portillo had suffered more substantial head trauma.

Here we label is as a troubled teen thing, when it happens elsewhere we call it whatever we need to suit our position on a particular topic.

If you're going to watch Brazil implode, it'll happen at the 2014 World Cup, and the IOC won't have time to react for 2016. IOC makes FIFA look like geniuses by comparison anyway

No shade of gray from this perspective. Sickening on any account.

Another labeling to suit my position on this particular topic.

So in Brazil it is a man be killed by a cow falling on him. Here is the US we call it home delivery by Peapod?
