Charlotte has more alumni than any city outside Huntington/Charleston. Lots of Alumni in Virginia, Florida, Ohio and Kentucky. Atlanta doesn't have as much as Charlotte but there is a very strong base there.

I would imagine that the games this year @FIU and @Florida Atlantic should have a large contingent of Marshall fans then?

I would expect so. I already have hotel reservations for the FIU game along with most of my family. Unfortunately, I'll miss the FAU game due to prior commitments.

Marsahall and WVU are both well represented in Charlotte of course Clemson, USCe and VT are probably have the most out of state representation here.

Absolutely. Don't be surprised if Marshall has 3-4K in the stands at Boca.

I didn't realize we were playing Auburn. 03-2thumbsup

On a serious note; I wish I was coming down to the game. A couple of my friends are down there for law school (one at Gainesville and one at Coastal) so it would be cool to invade Boca and bring down the house like we did back in the days of undergrad. 04-cheers

Do the liquor stores down there not carry Midnight Moon, Ole Smoky, Firefly, or Georgia Moon?

I'd have gone with Ol' Miss but pretty sure either would be fantastic.

Main areas of Marshall alumni?
The Big Green Scholarship Foundation is hosting a tailgate for Herd fans and alumni in the Rally Alley Hospitality Area at FAU Stadium on Saturday. Starts at 3pm.

There's 1 reason that Auburn University will always get my vote for most beautiful coeds in the South, and that's these ladies...

Even if those liquor stores do carry that Ol' Smokey and various other cheap legal moonshine it doesn't even touch the home made stuff made in the hills of Wayne and Mingo counties.. Had some apple pie and pineapple shine at my last tailgate 3 big gulps of each and I was pretty well lit lol

I drink the real stuff from Wayne County EVERY home game. My favorite is the Apple Pie.

If any of you FAU fans make the trip up next year, you will get to drink some real shine. From what I've read on here you can ask to UTSA fans to verify lol.

This I know (from first hand experience...thank you lemonade moonshine), but I'm not about to take the real thing down to them, part of the great thing about WV moonshine is drinking it in WV! 04-cheers

Ohh and I don't blame you a bit.. I wouldn't be caught carrying it across state lines either.. Here if something happens and you get caught more times than not the officer is going to look the other way.. Heck at the first home game we shared a taste of it with a cop he was off duty but still lol.. Its just a part of our culture in WV so people don't frown on it too much here.. But other places you never know and I wouldn't want to find out haha
