Nikki has just gotten another verbal commitment. She is Quadijah Moore, a 6'0 guard or forward. She is a 2019 commitment and attends Emerald High School in Greenwood, SC. I saw this on Twitter and don't know how to copy links or files from there.

Every time I see the Monarch’s play this year, I can’t help but think what Coach Nikki could do with a deep bench. The team is playing exceptionally well now, with an 8-player team and a 6- or 7player rotation. She’s building for the future with quality recruits to go with the holdovers from this year. Maybe the quality future will come a lot sooner than any of us think. Maybe even next year. Timmons, Edwards and Morris and the other returners will be a lot better with a deeper team around them. When this team presses, they can do a lot of damage now. They’re doing a lot of things right and I’m very, very encouraged by the recruiting class for 20018 and 2019. Congratulations Coach Nikki.

Wow, Coach Nikki is doing everything she said she would. These next, hopefully at least 10+ years, are going to be very exciting to witness.

I am so excited about how quickly coach is getting players to join the ODU Monarch Family. I was hoping we could add size by way of Transfers and JCO's. Many teams improve quickly with those type players. Especially JCO's, since they don't have to sit out a year, and Coach has one of the best coming in.

I like her approach because coach is looking to build a program. Not the quick resume fixes some coaches go after

Absolutely, that's the right way to do things. Throughout her career she's always done things the correct way.

I have to give credit where credit is due. I have never heard of any coach anywhere for any school have a 9 player recruiting year. 9 players is phenomenal. 9 quality players is unbelievable but it appears she has done just that. ODU is going from the outhouse to the penthouse in one year in CUSA. I expect ODU women to win CUSA this coming year. That is incredible!

Expectations are a resentment waiting to happen. Can't you at least give her a year with the new kids to gel and mature?

This team will be really young, so it may take a while to pay off. I expect them to be much better than this year. I think Coach Nikki proved her coaching ability this year, when she got every last drop of blood out of that turnip. I don't expect her to take a brand new group directly to the conference championship this season, but she could get close to the 20 win mark this year. How many players is she carrying over from this year? Maybe 5 and 3 of those were Freshmen this year. I do expect Victoria Morris to be special. Her growth this year from just an outside shooter to a much more complete player was big. I think Makayla Timmons will be the only Senior this year.
