Anthony back in lineup today, hitting 2nd. I think the Nats regard him as an everyday player. Right now he's at 2nd, but I think eventually Zimmerman will move to 1st and Anthony to 3rd.

Yup, they shook up the batting order yesterday, with Harper to leadoff and Rendon hitting second, while dropping Denard Span. Rendon had 2 doubles on the day, including one that tied the game in the 8th and allowed it to go to extra innings. I didn't see him involved in as many plays in the field.
He will be an everyday player. However, I'm thinking they're probably going to manage the total games played, as he hasn't even played a full season in the minors yet (with last year's injury), so playing 140+ games (including his stint in the minors) will be a big leap.

The announcers on Fox reported earlier in today's RedSox/Yankees game that Brock was sent back down to Pawtucket as Stephen Drew was reactivated from the DL.

It looks like we may find out very soon how much confidence the Red Sox have in Brock. This article details their interest in trading away their 3B prospect, Middlebrooks, with concerns over current 3B Iglesias and other AAA prospects; though I'm not sure why Brock isn't mentioned in the article.

With the Red Sox trade of Iglesias, Brock Holt was called up and back in the starting lineup this evening. He doubled and scored in his second at bat. Hoping this call-up is for good!

Brock Holt with a Premier Play of the Day on MLB TV tonight. Great play on a grounder.

Brock is on TBS right now. Just started a slick 5-4-3.
