I meant more that Rice and Wake are similar institutions with dissimilar positions in the power structure.

I just have to shake my head and laugh at the USf=Fiu. Does he even follow college football? Does he even know USF has had tons of crowds over 50K. Does he even know USF has defeated many top 25 and top 10 programs. does he even know USF has been ranked itself in the top 10. Does he even know that USF never (ok once) lost to a non BCS program. I don't mean to be ignorant, but I don't even know who two of those schools are. What is a UNT and a MTSU? Also this was a nice reminder FIU and FAU are actually two different schools. I forget that alot for some reason. Hey Memphis atleast you are equal to MTSU...I have to live with the fact UTEP is better at football, basketballl fan support and apparently life than UConn.

Yep, the new American schools were clearly escaping to prevent being dominated by the power that is CUSA. I'm trying to remember whether or not any of the current CUSA members has ever won the CUSA basketball tournament...ever....

North Texas is such a power that Memphis actually faced them in the NCAAs.....was it the 1-16 game or 2-15....can't remember...lolol

Someone add up the attendance averages and total attendance of each conference and compare them.

Ooh and while we're at it, let's compare athletic conference championships, national championships, athletic revenue and budgets...
