Idaho tweeted this. They had one too many OOC games scheduled since theu will be in the sun belt

Are we getting any kind of buyout offer from them? I would just say at this point just cancel the game at Huskie Stadium altogether and call it a day. There is no guarentee Idaho will even have a football program at that point.

Uh, didn't they beat us the last time we played them? As a matter of fact, they were the last team to beat the Huskies in DeKalb if I'm not mistaken. Not sure if we played them here first or there first.

Still, a boring opponent. Take 50k and some potatoes and schedule Wyoming or ECu in their spot...

This series is going to be Compher's legacy on scheduling, and a test for the new AD to get a viable home game in 2014 (non FCS).

Have them just buy us out. Huskie fans could care less about this series.

Look on the bright side - Idaho could be a really good team in 5 years. In 2007, NIU was 2-10. 5 years later, they were in a BC$ bowl. (not saying Idaho will have that big of a turnaround, but they could be a lot better by 2018).

On top of that Northwestern has an open game so I'm going to cross my fingers and hope that is who they schedule.

Only catch with playing NU next year is that we will have a green QB.
