No doubt...it's the best for outdoor garden projects (laying down paths, foundations for sheds, etc.)...just love it!
One word: Pinterest
Except for food recipes. Every time my wife makes something she go off of Pintrest it's complete garbage.
I know what you mean. Somebody posted a pic of a bean dip that looked goooood! It was easy to make so I figured what the heck.
It sucked.

I had to replace a water pump on a Dodge Caravan. The repair manual suggested taking off half of the engine to get to it. A guy on Youtube showed that I simply had to jack up the van, remove the front driver side tire, easily pop the wheel well mud flap, and there was easy access to the water pump. One hour and I am done. Going by the manual would have been about a 5 hour job.
Very cool. I'll have to remember that for my Chrysler T&C.

So, I opened the back of the TV and looked at the power supply board.
I noticed 3 fuses...
1. Bottom far-left corner
2. Bottom left-of-center
3. Dead-center
As it turns out, the 2nd fuse (bottom left-of-center) was blown. It's a 5x20mm ceramic 1A 250V fuse. They don't carry these at Radio Shack so I had to go to Bluff City Electronics. And they only sold them in a pack of 5. Spent $12.00.
Last night replaced the fuse, plugged in the TV and, voila!
Smelled smoke.
So I unplugged the TV, opened the back again and sure enough, the fuse was blown (visibly this time) and a few components next to the fuse were fried.
So, now I just ordered a new power supply board online. It should be here in about a week. $59.99 with no shipping charge.
As of now I'm in for $72. I was really hoping it was just the fuse, but I figured it was the board.
Once I replace the board the TV should work. If so, that'll be $72 as opposed to dropping $700 on a new TV.
We'll see...
OK, so the board didn't arrive in a week. :D
I ordered it June 26. The site showed the order had been shipped but there wasn't a tracking number.
After a few days I contacted the site operator and asked about tracking info. They promptly replied and told me that the board is coming from China and should take 4-6 weeks.
Oh, well. $60 board, free shipping. OK.
The board arrived Mon, July 15. Just under 3 weeks.
I installed it last night and then came the moment of truth.....
My TV works!!!
