I will have some nice memories of places like Orangeburg, SC and Jacksonville, AL and it will be nice to say I was there at the beginning. But truly, not gonna miss the CAA or FCS or Tom Yeager.

Those "butt-whipping" sites will now move to exotic places like:
Morgantown, WV., Tuscaloosa, AL., San Marcos, TX., Monroe, LA. and Jonesboro, AR. Not to worry, Panther fans, USA took it on the chin last year, but we put up "a good fight" in several of the SBC venues.

I don't know...wait till you get your first road beat down by an SBC school and talk to us after that.

You have no idea what its like to lose by 30 in freaking Monroe, LA. Maybe its because I never was forced to travel to Jacksonville, AL...but losing big at Monroe is a simply miserable experience.

Losing on the road sucks and losing big on the road is worse...anywhere.

The CAA gave us some good rivalries, drivable games, good competition but there was certainly some bullshittery involved with it. So it wasn't a bad place for us but the shithouse was going up in flames and we got out at the right time.

Ga St couldn't reep the regional benefits that we had and probably wasn't a good fit from the beginning.

Either way, on to bigger and better things. 04-cheers

I actually kinda wish we got to play Stony Brook at least once. I admire their program and what they've been able to do with it.

But I think I'll enjoy playing Marshall and UNC-C better! Maybe we can schedule SBU once in the future.

Fake GSU truly left its mark in the CAA. 0 basketball titles and 1-7 in CAA football play (rhode island doesn't really count).
You and your halftime cash drops will be missed.
