We'll beat them at least once this season, if not twice.

I will be very surprised and disappointed if we don't beat multiple ranked teams this year. We have the schedule and we are loaded and talented. Florida, Zags, OSU and (UL, UC, UCONN x2). In the words of Bart Scott "Can't Wait"

True, and the comments over there regarding Pastner seem pretty typical. I think and hope this is the season Josh quiets that crowd.

For all the "new" Tiger fans, THIS IS OUR RIVAL.

A Rival is someone that beats you and you beat. A date that you circle on the calendar. A Rival is a team that you respect because of the history, the blood, the sweat the tears. Old fans from both schools will acknowledge this.

Let the games begin.

That Orange school to the East ain't Jack ****.

Typical insecure fans- need to bash to feel better.

Which is odd, since their teams have done quite well of late.

Just a random sample of wee diks.

If all they boast is true, they will dominate the ACC and all of college sports in every sport forever. Or, as a program that has done quite well for itself considering their makeup, they will continue to have some success, although not like they have this past year.

I agree. Typical fan comments. I only react when one of our fans agrees with the dumbassedness.

Ah, reading through this is somewhat therapeutic. They still hate us and we, them. Happy days are here, again, if but for only a year.

Which means we beat a ranked team.

I know it hurts some to admit it, but it did happen.

I'd love to beat their ass. Just fcking kick the sht out of them. I'm 28, missed the 80s battles with them, hate UT with a passion, but I'd rather beat them than anyone else. I'm tired of the "Pastner hasn't beaten anyone" argument.

Mostly I'm tired that it's correct. Forget the limited opportunities and the young teams; it's time for Josh to prove something to his fans and CBB fans in general. Nothing does that as well as beating the sht out of the defending champs.

They don't consider us a rival? I guess that is because the guy down the road has been beating them routinely(except for this year and he only lost by a hoop at the YUM). I guess that they don't recall Finch owning them.03-lmfao

RE: Louisville fans discuss the Memphis game @ Scout
They have this thread linked on their board so I know they are getting to read this.

1. The Grizzles would destory Louisville by as much as they wanted too. They are cocky enough to actually say such bull**** lol.

2. Louisville loses 2 starters and they expect to be better?

3. They expect Jones to come in and easily replace Siva or be better then Siva. The dude is coming from the JUCO ranks. He has not proven himself against real competition. Geron was the best guard last season coming in from the JUCO ranks and he didn't set the world on fire. I think this season he will be improved but it took him a little time.

4. They apparently think Hancock is going to average 21 PPG like he did in the Final Four. He got hot. Without him doing that they lose their first game to W. State in the Final Four and they lose to Michigan if they somehow got by W. State anyways. Sorry Louisville fans Hancock over achieved and got hot he will not do that over the course of the season. He averaged 8 ppg and without him doing that with the losses of Dieng and Siva you are not the same team that won the title. You will not be better and you will not repeat.

We just need to let our game do the talking for us. Honestly I'm not worried about Louisville or any team for that matter. We have a team capable of beating anyone and regardless of what anyone says we are one of the teams that could win the whole thing.

if Memphis didn't have 20 more fouls called on them by Big East refs last year...we win by 10 or more.

Sorry you missed the fifty other discussions on this, but we took a poll and decided that if you're ranked in one of the two polls at the time we beat you, then it actually counts. 03-lmfao

If they're dragging out the Darius Washington video ... someone find that picture of their bench at the end of the 1987 METRO tourney ... after we beat 'em like a drum ... that always shuts em up.!!! 03-lmfao

Sorry, due to unforseen circumstances and a nine month exile, I wasnt able to post in every thread. Ill try to keep up now.

And polling the idiots around here is like asking the prisoners if they should get better food.
