All I'm hearing is great hands and finishes.....how good does that sound? I'm thinking a smaller Keith Lee/Hank McDowell mix? Just glad he didn't go to Duke...

RE: A. Nichols
I heard Hank McDowell on the radio the other day raving about Nichols, you hear the same things from everyone who has seen him play. I'm pumped about him and King. King seems to be flying under this board's radar with the late big man signing, the transfers, and the notoriety of being Alan Iverson's cousin and a 6'8 perimeter player taking up most of the attention. People seem to have forgotten King and Nichols were the two highest ranked players in our incoming class. Reports say King has been a force on the boards, if he can keep that up he will get minutes, if he can shoot AND rebound he will get LOTS of minutes. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he gets more minutes than Iverson, especially if it takes all summer for Iverson to qualify and he doesn't get the benefit of any of the summer practices.

Great post. I've been puzzled about how rarely Nick King is talked about.

When the time comes King will do his talking in the game. He will be a big time player. CJP has recruited so well he will have two complete teams to put on the floor. This is going to be a very special year for Tiger basketball. As Yogi Bera was once asked, "What makes a good manager?" and his answer was "Good players." We have one hell of a team thanks to CJP and his staff. GTG

Nick King is pretty much earning a spot on the Tigers rotation next season... He is killing it and looks to be physically ready for the college game.. 6'6 and 220 lbs...

Woodson has already lost 8 lbs so big dude is now at 303 lbs... They want him to be around 290-295 lbs... He will make it with Mastriciano checking all he eats!... Dixon and Crawford has developed a nice chemistry...

I am hearing Nichols got a nice touch for the game but he is gonna have to get stronger and bigger.. Needs to gain at least 10 to 15 lbs... He looks soft and skinny at 6'8 and 215 lbs

I look for Austin & Nick to get their share of PT. Both have a solid all around game and should adapt to the college game without much difficulty.

Don’t sleep on Markel Crawford either. Though slowed by injury I expect him to be a key part of our version of 40 minutes of hell. Sam Craft too.

That's a silly statement, IMO.

King hasn't played a single D1 game yet. He could very well be "what Adonis could've been," or he could underperform even worse.

If king is the warrior that will go and get dirty for a rebound like I been hearing he is already surpassing the passive Adonis to me. Adonis just lacked aggression IMO.

If our players develop as Tiger fans hope, then there will be little drop off upon substitution. The depth helps protect against fatigue, injury, and foul trouble.

Woodson is at 311 now. He has lost 8 pounds but was at 319 when he arrived. No potatoes for him...one year.

Photoshop. Nichols actually signed with Ewe Tay. I was wondering when people would start to catch on...
