Not really a shocking divorce if you listen to Sooner baseball devotees. It seems he's a world class douchebag, though he got results.

Looks like Heefner from DBU is a top candidate for replacement

I don't know the National collegiate baseball landscape, but this might prove to be an interesting litmus test on whether David Pierce is on short lists for coaching vacancies.

From the SHSU website: " Along the way, Pierce was honored as a “Regional Coach of the Year” by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) as well as being named Southland Conference “Coach of the Year.” He also was named by PerfectGame.org as one of ten rising stars in the NCAA Division I college baseball coaching ranks. "
