I'm not here to make you agree with my opinions. I'm just here to give an alternative view.

so you're basically saying that, even if the decision and opinion of others is right or wrong for that matter, you will still give us an alternative view anyways? Sounds like you are very efficient at work.

That's is my only problem with Fitbud. I can't value his opinion because I don't know if its genuine.

RE: Arena
Sometimes I actually agree with you guys. I won't always admit it though.

I look at it this way. It's easy to agree with everyone else and go with the flow.

I think it's much more challenging to see things from another perspective.

Is that what you call it?

I call it thinking outside of the box.

You are debating for the sake of debating. Not to make your point. It doesn't matter what you call it.

The best form of deflection. Let's point out a grammar mistake!

No wait. Let's desperately cling to a Susie Byrd comment that was irrelevant the moment she said it.

No wait. Let's say "many agree" when we have know we to prove it. We will just source "local radio."

Of course. Because any quote that proves that you are wrong and I was right has to be irrelevant. LOL

RE: Arena
You said any quote. That led me to believe there was more than one. I did not want to assume you were going to react this way over one quote. I hope I am wrong.

Susie Byrd is not a project manager. Susie Byrd was not at a press release. What Susie Byrd said didn't really matter. She could have said it was a 100 million dollar stadium. It would not have mattered.

Regardless, you are clinging to the argument of total cost versus construction cost in regards to her quote in an interview. So what though? You are so focused on the quote that you aren't even making a point.

She said construction and I took it as the total project. You desperately needing some ammunition, you took it as construction costs only. It doesn't matter who is right. She is not in charge of the project.

RE: Arena
My point is the actual cost of the stadium not who is in charge.

The actual cost of the stadium is still in question and/or has changes significantly or was not properly explained to city council or the public.

That is the only point I was trying to make.

RE: Arena
52.8 million dollars. What was the question or doubt? Heres-say? Rumors? Crab talk? Doesn't matter. It was 52.8 million dollars. But but but Susie Byrd said something else during an interview. Doesn't matter. 52.8 million dollars.

It is now officially 60.8 million dollars now that City Hall has been demolished and a firm design could be put into place. You should be a happy camper if your only point was the actual cost. It will now cost the City less with MountainStar's 12.1 million infusion.

Nothing to be crabby about now if the actual cost was your only point.
