Time to put Saturday behind us. Time to focus on the game in front of us. Obviously we have a great pitcher on the mound. We have the opportunity today to even the series. Best would of course be to get the bats going early, get some runs and not have to take the game into the ninth up by one run like at Oregon....
With the way Jordan's been pitching and the success we had against Rodon, I actually feel very good about today's game. And I'm going to get greedy and dream of another CG by Jordan but with a little cushion this time, leaving us a fully-rested Simms and Lemond for tomorrow.
Go Owls!

I am feeling very good about this game with Stephens on the mound. Mix in some timely hitting (some bloop hits have to fall for 2-out RBIs at some point) and there will be a game tomorrow. Go Rice!
There is a slight chance of rain today in Raleigh although the rain possibilities are higher later in the evening. Decent chance of severe storms tomorrow but let's cross that bridge when we come to it.
...wild man, but obviously with very good stuff. There's a reason their bullpen has 29 of their wins-- outside of Rodon, their starters just do not go deep into games; rather, they tend to go all staff, alternating pitchers from their deep bullpen every inning or two after the starter is removed.
We really need Cook, Rat and Aquino to break out of their slumps, and from the get-go.
I was hoping to watch the game online today, but once again the Internet gods are working against me. I can find ESPN and ESPN2 live links, but nothing for ESPNU. Aaaaaargh! Well, I guess I may have to rely on yesterday's "solution."

There is a link for ESPNU on the ESPN website, but you must have the right internet service provider. My provider is not one. Maybe yours is.
