Other Super Regional Action
Let's get it started:
LSU and OU underway, scoreless in T2d with runner on 1st and nobody out. Apparently the Crimson and Cream added Tarheel Blue to their wardrobe.

UCLA-Fullerton also scoreless with runner on in B1.

RE: Other Super Regional Action
I gotta say, after watching the '09 SR at Box and today's affair, I am convinced that no team gets home cooking in the playoffs like LSU does. Their pitchers' strike zone is larger than the Gulf of Mexico.

And it's not going both ways. The OU starter is just throwing absolute smoke. Nasty, deceptive sliders for genuine strikes time and time again from this guy.

RE: Other Super Regional Action
UCLA scores in T10 with 1 out and runners on 1st & 3rd
Sac fly scores another, 5-3 UCLA
Runner picked off at 1st for the 3rd out.

Bottom of the 10th:
3B fails to field a grounder, runner on first and tying run at the plate.
Base hit through the hole to the right side, runners on 1 and 2, 1 out.
Next batter just won't go down -- fouling everything until the count goes full -- called strike 3.
Final out remaining with the tying run on 1st.

Representing the winning run, Fullerton's best hitter (Lorentzen) ends the game by wiffing badly on an 0-2 pitch way off the plate down and in.

Agreed. Who's idea was it to mesh that pewter blue undershirt jersey with the red unis? Ugh.

From last week, Louisville's red, white and blue numbers also struck me as (maybe) a good idea but horrible in design.

They are for the tornado victims apparently. Agree they could've picked a better color though. Espn said the softball team had them too.

They're tributes for the folks affected by the Oklahoma tornadoes over the last few weeks.

How did a color-clashing undershirt become a tribute? Are they going to auction them off?

Now 3-2 South Carolina over UNC going to T3.

ETA: Leadoff solo HR to deep left makes it 4-2.

It's hard to believe that UNC pitching will be able to carry the team this weekend after the Regional.
