Walt, stadium was redone in 2001 including drainage...from the video from yesterday's practice the grass outfield looks very good.

There is a link as an upcoming event on ESPN3, so hopefully we can get that at the least.

It will be on ESPN3 at the least. There's a whole ESPN crew there already, the issue is just whether or not they can fit it in ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPNNews TV schedules at the delayed time.

Before any changes to the ESPN schedule, at 7PM EDT...

ESPN: NCAA Baseball (LSU/OU)
ESPN News: SportsCenter
ESPNU: College Track & Field
ESPN2: NCAA Baseball (UCLA/Cal St. Fullerton).

Lets hope that if the game can be played at 7PM EDT, that it will be moved to ESPN News.

Also, at least with DirecTV, U-verse, DISH, and Comcast (when I subscribed), there were alternate ESPN channels used for "out of market" games with the College Football subscription package or for when games went longer than scheduled.

Maybe the game can be broadcast on one of the alternates?

Every time the sun appears to be coming out, we get another rain shower. Just got caught in one grabbing a bite to eat, but it stopped almost as quickly as it started up. Not windy at all closer to campus.

Given that Emanuel threw 195 pitches last weekend (including Monday) and Johnson 170, it's not that surprising. I'm sure coach Fox was holding out for the postponement. Having said that, it's pouring again as I look out the hotel window.

Guys, I'm no longer optimistic about tonight. It has been absolutely down pouring here for the past 30 - 45 minutes, with no sign of let-up. The parking lots by the hotel are beginning to flood. Unless Doak Field has Reckling-like drainage, I don't see how playing condition-- particularly in the outfield-- will allow a game tonight.

Yeah, there's a band of heavy rain that seems like it will keep the rain coming, too.
