Looked like a busted hit and run, not a double steal, right?

Base hit, but out at the plate. What a ******* waste of an inning.

I'd sure like to see that replay again. I think Stringer beat the tag.

Stringer missed the plate, would've been safe otherwise.

Another 1-2-3 inning for Jordan (two strikeoutsKKKKK, line out). Second time through the lineup against Thorpe-- let's make the adjustment on his off-speed junk.

Ewing flied out to RF.
Stainback walked.
Stringer ground single. Great AB by Christian. Runners on 1B and 2B, on out.
Double steal attempt again gets lead runner. Runner at 2B, two outs. Sorry, I just don't get this with the heart of the lineup due up. Crazy.
Hoelscher singles on 0-2 pitch, but they nail (barely) Stringer at the plate.
The aggressiveness is great, but we just ran ourselves out of a big inning.

Good guys lead 1-0 heading to the top of the fourth inning.

I think he would have if he slide at the plate, but his leg went wide. Same at the play at third, IMO.

Close play... probably the right decision to run, but a nice defensive play (as JP says it was not marvelous).

edit: I think he'd agree the catcher did a great job.

Had to be hit and run on Shane's swing on the caught stealing. Terrible throw by the RFer made that play at the plate much closer than it should have.

We need Stephens to not let Oregon get any momentum from those two plays.

Dumb and dumber. they were lucky it was such a bad pitch to put in play. Might have worked otherwise but why try it?

Bad slide unfortunately, missed the plate with his right leg.

0-for-2 on double steals. But like the aggression.

Looked to me like Stringer's leg was over the plate before the tag, but didn't touch it. Bummer.

Not a good jump off second. Stringer was almost past halfway when Ford was just one third way to third....String had his league leg up instead he was trying touch with his back leg.
