Yup, though the leadoff single just barely made it through the infield. Offense simply needs to adjust to the off-speed pitches of Hinkle. I think he's thrown only a couple fastballs so far.

Rice needs to get something out of this inning. Get in Hinkle's head. As a reliever primarily, he has a short-term playing mindset. Stretch him out, and he could start to buckle.

Nice job by Skyler to give Stainback a chance to get to 2nd.

You could see Stringer's whole backside dip there, results in the lazy fly out. You're not going to muscle 60 MPH pitches anywhere.

Shades of 2011-2012 with Kubitza on the mound in regionals. Need to score in the next few innings, because these guys have a lock-tight bullpen.
