Isn't June 1st the deadline to announce a conference move that would take effect for next season? Think we'll see any last minute announcements? I'm thinking MAC or Sunbelt additions if anything does happen.

It's different for each conference. June 1 is the deadline to announce intentions to switch subdivisions or full divisions within the NCAA, though.

for moves between conferences in the same division/subdivision- July 1 is more of a deadline than June 1 is.

Not announce ~ submit both the application and the notice of intention to move. Whether you announce your application or not is up to you ~ if you want to avoid losing a crack at the FCS playoff, you can announce the submission of your application in summer and wait until next spring to put in the notice of intent to move.

Yes, different conferences have different deadline for announcing when you plan to move, but the athletic year is from 1 July to June 30, so moves take effect 1 July.
